Hello travelers from across the globe! Welcome to Nepal and we are delighted to share you the best 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek package knitted by expert travel planners. The Roving Nepal Trek Pvt. Ltd. has always provided options in every trekking and tour activities. Therefore, we are here to provide you with a safety cushion in terms of timing and international flight schedule especially during treks in Everest region. Due to unpredictable conditions of Lukla flights, the itinerary gets lots of hassles. Our 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek itinerary is knitted to avoid such hassles. Make sure to talk with our travel planners to book the epic journey to the foothill of the world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest.
It is wise to choose right time to do the 15 Days Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. One should understand the fact that a trekker spends lots of money to reach the Everest Base Camp. Overall trekking experiences must be beyond expectations. Similarly, you should also be safe and feel worth of every penny spent. Therefore, choose the months of spring season (March – May), autumn season (September – November), and months of winter season (December – February) for EBC Trek. Avoid monsoon season due to poor visibility. The chances of Lukla flight cancellation are high during monsoon season in Nepal.
In comparison to similar types of treks in Nepal, the Everest Base Camp Trek route is simple and well maintained. There are lesser steep uphill and downhill sections. The biggest factor that determines the difficulty level of the Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal is the matter of altitude. The risk of altitude sickness is high during the Everest Base Camp Trek. Therefore, you can call the trek moderately challenging because of altitude. Average walking hours is about 6 to 7 hours including lunch stop. If you are physically fit and have sound cardio – vascular ability, then you can easily complete the EBC Trek.
You need two permits for the 15 Days Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. They are the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit and the Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality entry permit. These permits cost NRs. 3000 for each but the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit for SAARC citizens is NRs. 1500. Trekking guide will help you obtain these permits during the trek. Rural Municipality permit is obtained in Lukla and the national park entry permit is obtained in Jorsalle near Monjo village on second day of the trek.
The trail of the Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the best commercial ones of Nepal. Therefore, trekkers don’t need to worry about the availability of tea houses and eateries during the trek. Different options are available for lodging facilities. Luxury mountain lodges to basic porter houses are available in the trail. The cost of the accommodation starts from 5 $ per night to 125 $ plus per night. Therefore, you don’t need to worry about these options.
Our 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek package provides standard tea houses for accommodation. If you wish to upgrade to luxury lodging, then you can contact with our travel planners and plan out the services according to your preferences. You can enjoy cuisines ranging from local to international throughout the trail.
The biggest concern one should consider while knitting the Everest Base Camp Trek itinerary is Lukla flight. Therefore, our travel planners knitted one day reserve itinerary of the 15 Days Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. During peak trekking season, trekkers have to use the Manthali Ramechhap airport instead of Kathmandu airport for the flight. It takes about 3 to 4 hours of jeep drive from Kathmandu to reach Manthali. Two way flight tickets are included in this trekking package.
Make sure to heed instructions of our trekking guide during the trek. The threat of altitude sickness is real especially in the Everest region of Nepal. Therefore, you must follow correct guidelines. The pace of the trek is designed in such a way that trekkers have to maintain the uniform pace. They must follow acclimatization activities in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche to ensure safety. We make our clients to drink water frequently throughout the journey. Furthermore, soupy foods are recommended to trekkers. Proper acclimatization activities are not skipped to avoid any threats of altitude sickness.
Build up the fitness level in such a way that you can walk for about 6 to 7 hours in an average in the high – altitude places for weeks. Furthermore, all trekkers are requested to prepare the physical fitness level at least one month prior to the trek. Perform activities like running, walking, swimming, cycling, and hiking to boost the fitness level. Also, make sure to follow healthy dietary habit in terms of eating and drinking. Greasy foods and alcohol are the worst enemies of the safe trekking in the Everest Base Camp Trek.
