Overview

One of the less visited but the most beautiful trek is Mera Peak climbing. Known for the beauty and toughness of the trek, Mera Peak Climbing demands a total of 19 days for successful completion. Situated at an altitude of 6461m Mera Peak climbing is tough.

Mera is located at the end of the beautiful Hinku Valley. You will need to be perfectly fit to complete this trek. However, it is critical to understand that with proper guidance from Roving Nepal Trek, it is possible to complete this trek.

How Tough Is Mera Peak Climbing?

The plain and simple answer to this is very difficult. Yes if you aren't associated with a well-known trekking agency, it is tough to do Mera peak climbing the right way. It is rated at the top level of difficulty. With the trekking being moderate to difficult, the climb could be very difficult for everyone. You will need to have some experience to complete this trek.

From cardio exercises like running, swimming, and walking you will need to be mentally strong. The paths to Mera are uneven and rough which makes it hard to complete the trek a lot of the time.

Best Time To Do Mera Peak Climbing

Roving Nepal Trek is always focused on the safety of our guests. As a result of that, we would like to suggest the best seasons to do the trek. Autumn and spring are the right seasons where you understand the tour and trek better.

Spring falls from March to May while autumn is present between September to November. During these periods you will have brilliant clear skies, with no rain little bit of cold air, and clean trails. Although monsoon and winter season are also available. But Roving Nepal Trek doesn't suggest such a season. The main reasons being slippery roads, foggy atmosphere and also poor trekking situations.

Who Can Do Mera Peak Climbing?

This query could be hard to answer for a lot of people. Any trek that goes beyond 10 days requires more mental strength rather than only physical stamina. In the case of Mera Peak Climbing you will need to be physically fit away from any medical condition. Meanwhile, you will also have to be practicing cardio and other exercise, 3 months before the trek.

If the readers don't have any fixed set of training schedules, connect with Roving Nepal Trek and we will guide you through. We would like to suggest that you shouldn't do this trek if you don't have major experience. Before jumping into this trek, try and perform other simpler treks and only attempt to complete Mera Peak Climbing. Mera Peak Climbing is an absolute no for senior citizens.

Are There Any Alternatives To Mera Peak Climbing?

If you aren't too impressed by what Mera Peak Climbing offers, you might be looking for better options altogether.

In the quest to fill your demand, we would like to suggest the Everest Base Camp trek along with Mera and Island Peak Climbing. Both of them could be challenging and demanding at the same time. But do have good experience before actually diving into these trekking options.

Cost of Mera Peak Climbing

The cost of any trek in Nepal is different for different trekkers. The major reason for this is due to the facilities they want to entertain during the trekking times.

If you are looking for a solo trek with Roving Nepal Trek the cost might be higher in comparison to the group. This brings in the case of cost division. Therefore it is almost impossible to predict the actual cost of the Mera Peak Climbing. If the readers are interested in knowing precisely about the cost, contact Roving Nepal Trek or also visit the office.

Permits Required for Mera Peak Climbing

Some common types of permits are required for every trek but with Mera Peak climbing the permits seem to be different from others. The first permit required would be a Trekkers Information Management System card which can be received from the National Tourism Board. Similarly, you will also need to have a Local Area Permit to climb the Mera Peak.

Moreover, the Makalu Barun National Park entry permit along with the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit will also be required. These permits are required as you will be passing through the national parks all along. In like manner, your documents like visa, passport, citizenship, etc. will also be carried. In the case of permits, Roving Nepal Trek will manage all the permits so the trekkers shouldn't be much worried about it.
