One of the less visited but the most
beautiful trek is Mera Peak climbing. Known for the beauty and toughness of the
trek, Mera Peak Climbing demands a total of 19 days for successful completion.
Situated at an altitude of 6461m Mera Peak climbing is tough.
Mera is located at the end of the
beautiful Hinku Valley. You will need to be perfectly fit to complete this
trek. However, it is critical to understand that with proper guidance from
Roving Nepal Trek, it is possible to complete this trek.
The plain and simple answer to this is very difficult. Yes if you aren't associated with a well-known trekking agency, it is tough to do Mera peak climbing the right way. It is rated at the top level of difficulty. With the trekking being moderate to difficult, the climb could be very difficult for everyone. You will need to have some experience to complete this trek.
From cardio exercises like running,
swimming, and walking you will need to be mentally strong. The paths to Mera
are uneven and rough which makes it hard to complete the trek a lot of the
time.
Roving Nepal Trek is always focused
on the safety of our guests. As a result of that, we would like to suggest the
best seasons to do the trek. Autumn and spring are the right seasons where you
understand the tour and trek better.
Spring falls from March to May while autumn is present between September to November. During these periods you will have brilliant clear skies, with no rain little bit of cold air, and clean trails. Although monsoon and winter season are also available. But Roving Nepal Trek doesn't suggest such a season. The main reasons being slippery roads, foggy atmosphere and also poor trekking situations.
This query could be hard to answer for a lot of people. Any trek that goes beyond 10 days requires more mental strength rather than only physical stamina. In the case of Mera Peak Climbing you will need to be physically fit away from any medical condition. Meanwhile, you will also have to be practicing cardio and other exercise, 3 months before the trek.
If the readers don't have any fixed set of training schedules, connect with Roving Nepal Trek and we will guide you through. We would like to suggest that you shouldn't do this trek if you don't have major experience. Before jumping into this trek, try and perform other simpler treks and only attempt to complete Mera Peak Climbing. Mera Peak Climbing is an absolute no for senior citizens.
If you aren't too impressed by what
Mera Peak Climbing offers, you might be looking for better options altogether.
In the quest to fill your demand, we
would like to suggest the Everest Base Camp trek along with Mera and Island
Peak Climbing. Both of them could be challenging and demanding at the same
time. But do have good experience before actually diving into these trekking
options.

The first permit required would be a Trekkers Information Management System card which can be received from the National Tourism Board. Similarly, you will also need to have a Local Area Permit to climb the Mera Peak.
Moreover, the Makalu Barun National Park entry permit along with the Sagarmatha National Park entry permit will also be required. These permits are required as you will be passing through the national parks all along. In like manner, your documents like visa, passport, citizenship, etc. will also be carried. rhododendron and juniper forest trekkers will cross Chutok La Pass to reach
Paiya.
As the morning starts in Paiya we

also called Pasang Lhamu trail.

trails of Hinku Khola. Walking for quite some time through the plains we reach
Gondishung where we find a 200-year-old Lungsumgba Gompa. We will find remains
of Mera Park but a 4-hour trek will take you to Thaknak where we rest the
night.

special care of the trekkers with proper acclimatization. We will help the
trekkers to get ready with their trekking gear and also mentally prepare for
the coming days.
The 11th day of the trek could be a
defining day as you could be able to climb into some of the toughest terrains.
After a great struggle, we reach the Mera La Pass finally reaching Mera High
Camp. During the winter season, this trail is almost impossible but we set up high
camp enjoying the views of Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, etc.
Finally, the moment is here when we
get to the top. Waking early at 2:30 am we have breakfast the gear ready and
climb for 6 hours to reach the peak of Mera. When you climb the top of Mera Mountains
like Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Makalu, Kanchenjunga will be merely closer.
Slowly we come down and trek back to Khare for the night.
You never know what the mountains
will show. Therefore we will have reserved a day for the trek. Weather is
unpredictable in the mountains but if we complete the climb on the 12th day we
will rest on the 13th day.
As we descend and leave the beauty
of Mera we go through Tangerang mountain. The altitude suddenly drops down to
3600m so be careful about it.
Sadly we will be leaving the Mera
trail each day. Today we will be going back to Thuli Kharka where you will have
brilliant rhodendrons along with alpine vegetation. A trek of 6 hours takes you
to your hotel.
We will be leaving the Mera trail
and directly jump into the Everest region. The journey will go through
Zatrawala Pass and later descends to Chutenga which takes you directly to Lukla.
Finally, we will be heading back to
Kathmandu through the flight to Lukla. It is one of the most scenic flights, to
say the least. You will have access to some of the most beautiful views in the
air. A 30-minute flight will take you to the capital.
As we have a day left before leaving
Nepal, this day will be utilized with a city tour, a food hunt and also buying
souvenirs to take back to the home country. A guide from Roving Nepal Trek will
help you achieve it.
After 18 days of beautiful
experiences and memories, we will head to our respective home countries. A
staff from Roving Nepal Trek will drop you off at the airport and wish you well
for future activities.
