BEIJING LHASA EVEREST BASE CAMP - MANSAROVAR KAILASH KATHMANDU ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

·       Morning: Arrive in Beijing and transfer to your hotel. Rest after your flight.

·       Afternoon: Visit the Temple of Heaven and enjoy a peaceful park walk.

·       Evening: Welcome dinner and orientation about the upcoming journey.


Day 2: Explore Beijing

·       Morning: Visit the Great Wall of China at Badaling or Mutianyu section.

·       Afternoon: Explore the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.

·       Evening: Free time or stroll through Wangfujing Night Market.


Day 3: Beijing City Tour

·       Morning: Visit the Summer Palace, a UNESCO heritage site.

Day 4: Beijing to Lhasa (3,650m)

Day 5: Discover Lhasa

Day 6: Lhasa Excursion

Day 9: Kora around EBC

Day 10: EBC to Saga (4,450m)

·       Morning: Depart from EBC towards Saga.

Day 11: Saga to Lake Mansarovar (4,590m)

Day 13: Mansarovar to Darchen (Base Camp for Kailash Kora)

·       Afternoon: Briefing and preparation for the trek.

·       Evening: Overnight in Darchen.


Day 14: Darchen to Dirapuk (North Face of Kailash)

·       Morning: Start the Kora on foot or horseback (6–7 hrs) to Dirapuk.

·       Afternoon: Enjoy close-up views of Mount Kailash’s North Face.

·       Evening: Stay overnight at Dirapuk Monastery guesthouse.


Day 15: Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk via Dolma La Pass (5,645m) and Gowri Kunda

·       Morning: Ascend to Dolma La Pass, the holiest and toughest part of the Kora.

·       Afternoon: Descend to Gowri Kunda, a sacred turquoise lake said to cleanse sins. Rest and take in the divine scenery before continuing to Zuthulpuk.

Day 16: Zuthulpuk to Darchen

·       Morning: Easy trek completing the Kailash Parikrama.

·       Afternoon: Arrive in Darchen and relax.

 Day 17: Darchen to Saga

·       Morning: Scenic drive back through the Tibetan plateau.

Day 18: Saga to Kyirung

Required Document:

In order to facilitate the processing of your Tibet Visa, kindly ensure you have the following documents ready:

1, Passport Copy: Please submit a clear copy of your passport at least 25 days in advance to initiate the Tibet Travel Permit processing.

2, Original Passport: Ensure you have your original passport with you when your group arrives in Kathmandu.

3, Passport Size Photo: Provide a passport size photo with a white background, front face, without eyeglasses, and no smiling expression.

4, Visa Application Form: Complete the visa application form prior to your arrival.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PROCEDURE TIBET GROUP VISA !!!

As per the new rules and regulations from the Chinese embassy in Nepal, to obtain a Tibet group visa, it is required that there must be a minimum of 05 people in the group. Additionally, the visa application process in Kathmandu requires the submission of the original passport and may take 05 official working days to complete. Furthermore, clients who wish to obtain a Tibet group visa will need to visit the China visa application center in person to provide biometric information.
