Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu and overnight at hotel (1400m)

?The first day of the trek marks the arrival in Kathmandu. Trekkers will be landing at the international airport and members from Roving Nepal Trek will receive them. You will be spending the night at the respective hotels. 

Day 2 : Flight to Lukla(2840m/9317ft) and trek to Phakding (2610m/8562 ft) Duration: 3-4 hours

?After spending the first day in Kathmandu we will take the early morning flight to Lukla. On one of the most scenic flights, you will reach Lukla in 35 minutes. Following that we will trek to Phakding which takes 4 hours. Tourists will spend overnight at Phakding.

Day 3 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286ft) Duration: 6 hours


The third day marks the entry to the gateway of Mount Everest. Yes, we are talking about Namche Bazaar. Following a long and rigged trek of more than 5 hours we will reach Namche Bazaar, spending the night there

Day 4 : Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (3440m/11286 ft.)

The fourth day of the trek is all about acclimatizing at the Namche Bazaar. We will have the option of hiking small points to Everest View Hotel. It lies at an altitude of 3880m and takes 5 hours to be back. 

Day 5 : Trek to Tengboche (3860m/12664ft) Duration: 5 to 6 hours

As we acclimatize well at Namche Bazaar for the start the next day will be about visiting Tengboche. It will be a 6-hour trekking journey which will go through various prayer flags, monasteries and finally Tengboche monastery. The religious value of Tengboche is superior as we spend the night there. 

Day 6 : Trek to Dingboche from Tengboche (4410m/14468ft) Duration: 5 to 6 hours

The journey of the EBC trek with heli return moves towards Dingboche. A journey with plenty of pine trees and forest moves towards Dingboche with a trek of more than 6 hours. We will be staying overnight at the guest house in Dingboche. 

Day 7 : Acclimatization day and hike to Nangkartsang Peak (5083m/16676ft) Duration: 4 to 5 hours

As the altitude gets higher it is important to acclimatize well. On the 7th day of the trek, we will have the second acclimatization at Dingboche. At an altitude of 5083m, you have an opportunity to visit Nangkartsanga Peak which takes 4 to 5 hours. 

Day 8 : Trek to Lobuche from Dingboche (4910m/16108ft) Duration: 5 to 6 hours

The journey moves to even tougher terrains when we trek towards Dingboche. Trekkers could feel slight altitude sickness as the altitude reaches 4910m. A trekking of 6 hours will take you to Dingboche.

Day 9 : Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m/17598ft) and back to Gorakshep (5190m/17027ft) Duration: 8 to 9 hours

The day finally arrives when we will be on the foothills of Mount Everest. As we leave the baggage at Gorakshep we head towards Everest Base Camp. Covered by mountains all around we will ascend the altitude of 5364m. Sadly we will have to trek back to Gorakshep as there is no place to stay at Base Camp.

Day 10 : Early Morning Hike to Kalapatthar (5555m/18225ft) and descend to Gorakshep, later heli return to Lukla

Although we would have won the Everest Base Camp this journey will be about reaching Kalaptthar earlier than sunrise to have the most beautiful view of Mount Everest. After having the beautiful view we return to Gorakshep and Lukla with the help of a helicopter. 

Day 11 : Flight back to Kathmandu (1400m/4593ft) Duration: 35 minutes

As the Roving Nepal Trek team celebrates their journey at Lukla, we have to return to Kathmandu on the 11th day. It will be a 35 minute flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. As we reach Kathmandu, tourists have an option to tour the city as the guides will help you with it

Day 12 : Departure to home nation

A tough day is on hand as we say goodbye to all of our guests. You will be dropped off at the international airport with a token of love and a promise to meet again.
